RULES

→ AGE RESTRICTION
Because of dark themes that will be occuring in the game, all players must be at least 18 or older to join.

→ HARASSMENT
It's just not cool. If you feel like you're being pushed into a ship or plot, come talk to the mod if you can't sort it out between the two of you. Also, harassing players for tags is grounds for removal from the game.

→ DON'T BE AN ASS
Leaving others out of the game is uncool and arrogant. Mingle with other players and get to know one another.

→ CHARACTER LIMITS
When first starting out in the game, the maximum amount of characters you can play is seven. If you can handle those seven characters and keep them active, the bar can be raised from that amount to add seven more, which will give you a grand total of fourteen characters in the game.

→ CANON PUNCTERING
Canon puncturing is just a big no-no. This happens when one character has knowledge of another, and knows all about them. It is not acceptable, and will be grounds for removal from the game if it occurs.

→ GODMODDING
Taken from Urban Dictionary: It, is in essence, when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RPers try.

-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.
-It can be when they simply can't be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.
-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.

So just don't, or it's grounds for removal from the game.

→ POWER-PLAYING

Again, taken from Urban Dictionary: The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they're not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they've made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths.

This, like god-modding, is grounds for removal from the game.

→ ORIGINAL CHARACTERS (OCs)
Nobody likes Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Flush out your character's background.

→ PLAYER BODIES (PBs)
If a character has a canon PB, use it. Don't switch PBs around. A prime example of this would be using Steven Strait as Jacob Black from Twilight instead of Taylor Lautner. Rare exceptions may be made at the mod's discretion.

→ JOURNALS
If you already have a particular character journal made, use it. If not, make a new journal for your character. Please note that OOC journals are not allowed to be used with this game.

→ CHARACTERS
If your character is not active within the first two weeks after you apply for him/her, they will be removed unless you're on hiatus and/or you've talked to a mod. An active game is a happy game.

→ HAVE FUN
The whole purpose of RPing is to have fun and make friends. It's not serious business.
